Festive Pillows

I have been wanting to make some festive July pillows for some time now.  Yesterday I decided it was time to whip some out.  I made these two for inside our house.  I saw the idea for the blue and white one on pinterest.  My super creative sister-in-law Erin, gave me the idea for the other blossoms.

I found this nautical outdoor fabric at Joann's.  I usually don't love the fabric there but this made my heart sing.  It is kind of hard to see in this photo, but the lighter fabric has maps and boats on it. All the outdoor fabric at Joann's is 1/2 off this week.  This is one of my favorite spots in the morning.  Out on our front porch in the swing.  I take my breakfast out there a lot, to enjoy the warm sun.
