I think there are people who are apron people and people who just aren't. I love aprons! I wish I could say I was better at wearing one. I usually wear one all day when I am canning. I do have fond memories of people I love in an apron. One of my sweet friends who is an apron person posted this apron poem on her blog one time. It really is very sweet. It makes me happy every time I read it. I will be wearing this little beauty this weekend. I always like to bake for conference. I found it here. They really do have the cutest aprons I have ever seen!

Ta da.... me in my Birthday suit! I found this awesome vintage suit at Abode. My mom and I hit up some of our favorite little shops for my Birthday this week. I never leave Abode empty handed. Today was super fun to score a vintage suit and for only $24.00 I might add! The skirt fits perfect but I am going to need to have the jacket taken in a bit. Anyone know a good tailor?
P.S. If you are a Abode blog follower, you get 10% off your most expensive item.

I have now found a home for each of my lovely treasures! How darling is the little owl under this cloche? I love it.
I use old books a lot around my house. They are one of my favorite things to use when I want something higher.
I knew when I bought this tin that I wanted to put it in this cabinet. It is on the wall in my bathroom, full of essential oils.
Here is one of the books, the old post and the birdie plater. This yellow birdie planter has made me so happy over the past few gloomy days. Oh, yellow sunshine, I miss you!

My friend Melissa and I got to do a little shopping in Victoria Canada and Palmyra NewYork this last week. It was so much fun. I always love going to antique stores. In Canada they have a store called Zehers. It was kind of like Walmart but nicer. They had super cute clothes. I am in love with this corsage tee that I got there! How cute is the little owl? I think my heart skipped a beat when I found it at the Salvation Army.
Yellow bird planter, old post and a cute little tin. I will post some other day what I do with these sweet finds.
What's not to love about old books. I thought these books that I found in Palmyra were so charming. Oh, Ah.... It was shopping bliss.

I have had this chair now for about five years and the fabric for about four. I thought I better hurry and recover the chair before I don't like the fabric any more. When I put the new fabric on I felt like the chair was so happy. Ahh....happy chair. Happy me to have a new chair and a project checked of the list.
